UFC on Fox 8 Weigh-in Results: Johnson, Moraga On Point for Title Fight Corey Adams July 26, 2013 Events, Video On Friday, July 26, the UFC will hold the weigh-ins for UFC on Fox 8 which takes place from the Key Arena in Seattle on Saturday, July 27. In the main event, current flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson will put his belt on the line against surging challenger John Moraga. Johnson has yet to taste defeat since dropping to the 125-pound division in early 2012, defeating Ian McCall, Joseph Benavidez and most recently, John Dodson along the way. Moraga, meanwhile, enters the contest on the heels of two straight stoppage wins over Ulysses Gomez and Chris Cariaso. Also on the main card, welterweights Rory MacDonald and Jake Ellenberger clash with each looking to earn a shot at the 170-pound title, Strikeforce veterans Robbie Lawler and Bobby Voelker will each be looking to add another knockout to their resume, also at welterweight, and former women’s bantamweight title challenger Liz Carmouche will welcome Brazilian Jessica Andrade to the Octagon. The 12-fight event will kick off at 4 p.m. ET with two bouts streaming on the promotion’s YouTube and Facebook pages. Six additional bouts will follow on FX at 5 p.m. ET, with the four-fight main card starting at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. The fighters hit the scale at 7 p.m. ET.
