UFC on Fox 8 post-fight bonuses

Bonuses for UFC on Fox 8 were $50,000, and were announced in the post-fight press conference Saturday night.

Melvin Guillard’s knockout over Mac Danzig earned himself Knockout of the Night, Demetrious Johnson’s submission over John Moraga to retain his flyweight title won him Submission of the Night, and Fight of the Night was awarded to Ed Herman vs. Trevor Smith.

Vitor Belfort vs. Tim Kennedy rumored for future event in Brazil

A match-up between Vitor Belfort and Tim Kennedy is the works for a future event in Brazil.

Kennedy recently tweeted, “I’m going to brazil to fight Vitor! I’m bringing ranger panties, Greg Jackson and Ranger Up.” Also, UFC president Dana White told MMAFighting.com that the bout is in the works.

Brazilian phenom Goiti Yamauchi debuts at Bellator 99

A 20-year-old Brazilian is scheduled to make his Bellator debut on Sept. 13 at Bellator 99.

Goiti Yamauchi will take on Musa Toliver at the event, which takes place from the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif.

The fight will air on the Spike.com prelims.
