Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Tito Ortiz set for Bellator PPV on Nov. 2 Everyone was expecting Quinton “Rampage” Jackson to fight Roy Jones Jr. in a boxing match, but there has been a change in plans. “Rampage” called out his opponent for his first fight in Bellator, and Tito Ortiz walked down the ramp carrying his famous flag. The two are set to meet on Nov. 2 from the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, Calif. The event will be the first pay-per-view show Bellator has done, but no price has been announced. Source: The MMA Corner Maia-Shields, Masvidal-Khabilov targeted for fall events Two bouts were announced on the latest episode of “UFC Tonight.” Brazilian Demian Maia is expected to take on former Strikeforce champion Jake Shields at an event this fall that has yet to be determined. Also, lightweights Jorge Masvidal and Rustam Khabilov will meet in November on Fox Sports 1. Source: UFC Tonight Women’s flyweight title bout added to XFC 26 in Nashville To add to the growing lineup, a women’s flyweight title fight has been added to XFC 26: Night of Champion III, which takes place on Oct. 18 from the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville. For the inaugural title, Cortney “Cast Iron” Casey (1-0) will face Pearl Gonzalez (1-1) in a featured fight on AXS TV.
