Melving Guillard vs. Ross Pearson Added to UFC Fight Night in Manchester, England A lightweight battle between two hard hitting lightweights has been scheduled for the UFC Fight Night card from Manchester, England as Melvin Guillard and Ross Pearson will face one another. Guillard is coming off an impressive victory over Mac Danzig at UFC on Fox 8 that saw him earn Knockout of the Night honors while Pearson has back-to-back victories since rejoining the lightweight division. The fight is scheduled to be the evening’s co-main even with a middleweight fight between Mark Munoz and Michael Bisping serving as the headliner. The card is scheduled to go down on Oct. 26. Source: MMA Junkie Rousimar Palhares Looks to Make Welterweight Debut Later This Year Former middleweight contender Rousimar Palhares is officially making the move to welterweight and is tentatively scheduled to make his 170-pound debut later this year. The Brazilian was last seen in the Octagon losing to former Bellator champion Hector Lombard. Palhares is still on the sidelines after being suspended for elevated testosterone levels in the Lombard fight but his punishment is scheduled to come at an end sometime next month. Source: MMA Mania / UFC Tonight Bola Omoyele vs. Aaron Wilkinson Becomes First Official Bout for Cage Warriors 60 Two former Ultimate Fighter competitors will face one another at Cage Warriors 60 when Bola Omoyele (TUF U.K. vs. Australia) takes on Aaron Wilkinson (TUF 12) in a welterweight clash. Omoyele has won six consecutive fights while Wilkinson has gone 4-2 since his time with the UFC. Cage Warriors 60 is set for Oct. 5 and takes place at The Forum in London.
