TUF 19 tryouts

Aspiring professional mixed martial artists can try out for the 19th season of The Ultimate Fighter at the end of the month in Indianapolis.

The tryouts will be held Tuesday, Aug. 27 for the middleweight and light heavyweight weight classes.

Bellator MMA gains three fighters from Wolfslair

Following the acquisition of the most popular member of UK’s fight team Wolfslair, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Bellator will add three more representatives from the agency to its roster. All three will have fights in Bellator’s ninth season and two have dates for their debuts.

Gavin Sterritt will make his debut against Andy Murad on Sept. 13 in a welterweight contest. Linton “The Swarm” Vassell is set to enter Bellator’s cage on Nov. 8, likely at light heavyweight. Lastly, Peter Graham will join Bellator’s ranks, likely at heavyweight, though no date has been confirmed.

Spong vs. Corbett set for Glory 11

Tyrone Spong returns to kickboxing competition against Nathan Corbett at Glory 11: Chicago.

The fight will headline the Oct. 12 event that takes place in Chicago and airs live on Spike.

The co-main event will see “Bazooka Joe” Valtellini vs. Karim Ghajji. Also on the card is a four-man heavyweight tournament championship with Gokhan Saki vs. Rico Verhoeven and Daniel Ghita vs. Anderson “Braddock” Silva
