On Tuesday, Aug. 27, the UFC hosted the weigh-ins for UFC Fight Night 27: Condit vs. Kampmann 2 from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The event takes place on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from the same venue.

In the night’s main event, welterweights Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann will go to a battle in a rematch of their 2009 contest which Kampmann claimed via split decision. Since that bout, Condit was able to claim the UFC’s interim championship, but fell short in his conquest to dethrone champion Georges St-Pierre. Kampmann, meanwhile, has gone just 5-4 during the same stretch. He most recently had a three-fight winning streak snapped by current No. 1 contender Johny Hendricks.

Also on the main card, lightweights Donald Cerrone and Rafael dos Anjos look to inch closer to contention, TUF winner Kelvin Gastelum will make his welterweight debut against Strikeforce import Brian Melancon, TUF winners Court McGee and Robert Whittaker will battle it out, bantamweights Takeya Mizugaki and Erik Perez face off, and TUF alums Robert “Bubba” McDaniel and Brad Tavares lock horns at middleweight.

The 12-fight event will kick off at 5 p.m. ET with two bouts streaming on the promotion’s YouTube and Facebook pages. Four additional bouts will follow on Fox Sports 2 at 6 p.m. ET, with the six-fight main card starting at 8 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1.
