Bellator officially signs Cheick Kongo, debuts in September

Bellator has added a new face to its heavyweight division.

Former UFC competitor Cheick Kongo has signed with Bellator, and will make in the season nine heavyweight tournament this September.

More information regarding the signing and tournament match-ups will be announced in the coming weeks.

UFC Fight Night 29 in Brazil adds Alcantara vs. Araujo, Patrick vs. Whiteley

Two bouts have been added to UFC Fight Night 29, which takes place on Oct. 9 from the Jose Correa Arena in Barueri, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Winner of his first two UFC fights, Ildemar Alcantara, will square off with Ultimate Fighter season 16 cast memberIgor Araujo, while Alan Patrick and Garrett Whiteley will make their Octagon debuts.

Host of New Bouts Revealed for October’s Legacy Fighting Championship 24 in Texas

Several new fights were announced for Legacy Fighting Championship 24, which takes place on Oct. 11 from the Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas.

The co-main event is now set, as it features a clash of undefeated lightweights Chris Feist and Carlos Diego Ferreira.

Also added to the main card are Charles Byrd vs. Mike Jasper, Eliazar Rodriguez vs. Eli Tamez, and Javier Obregon vs. Damon Jackson.

The full main card, as well as what has been announced for the undercard, is listed below.
