Bellator Signs TV Deal with Fox Sports Latin America

Bellator has announced a broadcast deal with Fox Sports Latin America which is distributed in 50 million homes across 19 countries. Starting next month, the channel will begin broadcasting past and current Bellator events, along with additional Bellator programming.

The promotion will also reportedly begin holding events in those countries in 2015.

Anthony Njokuani Injured; Off UFC Fight Night 30  

Anthony Njokuani is injured and has been forced out of his scheduled bout with Al Iaquinta. This comes after Njokuani’s original opponent, Paul Taylor, was forced out of the contest with an injury as well. An official UFC announcement on Njokuani’s removal or a replacement for Iaquinta hasn’t been announced yet.

UFC Fight Night 30 is scheduled to be headlined by a middleweight contest between Michael Bisping and Mark Munoz. Melvin Guillard vs Ross Pearson is slated to be the evening’s co-main event. UFC Fight Night 30 will take place on Oct. 26 from the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.

WSOF 6 Gets Preliminary Bouts

The WSOF 6 event has received a few preliminary bouts. Francisco “Kiko” France will face Hans Stringer  and a bantamweight contest between Chad “Robo” Robichaux and Andrew “The Golden Boy” Yates has also been added.

Both matchups take place on the World Series of Fighting 6 preliminary card, which streams live on the promotion’s official website, WSOF.com, and precedes the night’s two-hour, nationally-televised main card on NBCSN.

WSOF 6 will feature the promotion’s first title fight when Josh Burkamn faces Steve Carl. WSOF 6 is scheduled for Oct. 26 and takes place from the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Fla.

New Cage Warriors Bantamweight Champ Signs First Title Defense

Brett Johns has signed up for his first title defense of the Cage Warriors bantamweight title. He will face James Brum at CWFC 62 which is slated to take place at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England.

CWFC Fight Night: 9 Adds Welterweight Contests

Jack Mason will clash with Abusupiyan Magomedov in Magomedov’s CWFC debut. Also, Piotr Ptasinski and Lee Caers will look to add to their CWFC resumes when they face one another.

CWFC 9 takes place Oct. 25 from the King Hussein Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan.
