Sergio Pettis, brother of UFC Lightweight champ Anthony Pettis, Signs with UFC; to Debut at UFC 167 

The younger brother of UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, Sergio Pettis, has signed with the UFC and will make his promotional debut at UFC 167.  Sergio has been competing professionally for two years and owns a 9-0 record. He was the first RFA flyweight champion and in his most recent fight, became the NAFC bantamweight champion by defeating James Porter via first round submission (kimura).

UFC Signs Undeafeated Brazilian Bethe Correira to Women’s Bantamweight Division 

Undefeatead Brazilian Bethe Correira has inked a deal with the UFC. There’s no timetable for her UFC debut with her last fight coming in June. That was a win against Erica Paes, the last woman to defeat Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino. Her record stands at 6-0.

Douglas Lima Suffers Broken Hand Following Tournament Win

Bellator welterweight tournament winner Douglas Lima has confirmed that he suffered a broken hand following his victory over Ben Saunders at Bellator 100. It marks the third time Lima has broken his right hand. He confirmed to Sherdog that he will be having surgey in four weeks. He estimated his recovery time at two months.
