WSOF heading to Canada

World Series of Fighting has acquired Canadian promotion Aggression Fighting Championship and will launch World Series of Fighting Canada on Dec. 7 from Vancouver.

Two fights have been revealed for the event as UFC veteran Anthony Johnson will meet Mike Kyle at light heavyweight and in a middleweight tournament semifinal, Elvis Mutapcic meets Jesse Taylor.

Shlemenko defends title in Jersey

Bellator MMA returns to Atlantic City on Nov. 15 and middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko will be defending his title.

Shlemenko will meet season eight middleweight tournament winner Doug Marshall, who claims his title shot after being delayed by hand injury.

Leites steps in against Herman at UFC 167

After Brazilian middleweight Rafael Natal was tabbed to face Tim Kennedy at UFC: Fight for the Troops 3 on Nov. 6, his opponent at UFC 167, Ed Herman, was stuck without a dance partner.

Former title challenger Thales Leites will step in for his fellow countryman to take on the TUF alum at the Nov. 16 event in Las Vegas.

UFC 167 is headlined by a welterweight title tilt between champion Georges St-Pierre and challenger Johny Hendricks.

UFC Fight Night 33 adds welterweight contest

TUF winner Robert Whittaker returns to his homeland on Dec. 7 (Dec. 6 in North America) to face off with hard-hitting Strikeforce veteran Brian Melancon.

UFC Fight Night 33 takes place from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia and airs live on Fox Sports 1.

Barnes draws Karski at Cage Warriors 60

Cage Warrors middleweight Leeroy Barnes is set to meet his fourth different opponent for the Cage Warriors 60 event after his first three foes fell through.

He will meet Polish fighter Kacper Karski this Saturday on the main card.
