Bellator 104 Weigh-in Results

As season nine of Bellator continues, the promotion rolls into Cedar Rapids, Iowa for Bellator 104.  The main attraction this time around will be the semifinal round of the season’s welterweight tournament.  Ron Keslar will meet War Machine, while Brent Weedman takes on Rick Hawn.  The four tournament fighters successfully made weight and the tournament bouts are official.

ONE FC 11 Weigh-in Results

Leading Asian MMA promotion ONE FC will hold its eleventh event tomorrow, and the fighters tipped the scales earlier today.  The main event will feature a bantamweight title unification bout as interim champion Bibiano Fernandes meets champion Soo Chul Kim.  The evenings co-main event will have the promotions lightweight champion Shinya Aoki make his featherweight debut against American Cody Stevens.

Newell to meet Fadi at WSOF 7

A new fight has been added to the first World Series of Fighting card to land north of the boarder.  Lightweight Nick Newell will take on Canadian Sabah Fadi at the event.  “The Persian Warrior” will enter the cage with a professional record of 7-2, while Newell will put his perfect record of 10-0 on the line.  “Notorious” made his WSOF debut in his last fight, and this will be the first time fighting with the promotion for Fadi.

WSOF 7 will take place on Dec. 7 in Vancouver, Canada.

Lapsley vs. High added to UFC 167

UFC 167 is being celebrated as the promotions 20th anniversary card, and the card has now officially full with the addition of a welterweight contest between Anthony Lapsley and Jason High.  Lapsley will be making his promotional debut after going 22-5 previously.  He has fought in organizations such as Bellator, Elite XC, and KOTC.  This is currently Jason High’s second time around with the promotion, and recently took down James Head by first round submission in August.

Las Vegas will host UFC 167 on Nov. 16.
