Sonnen, Silva to coach The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3

Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva will likely see battle against each other after all. First, though, the two will coach The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3. Tryouts begin on Nov. 11, and remain open to middleweights, light-heavyweights, and heavyweights. Filming for the show will start in 2014, and the long-awaited “Sonnen vs. Wanderlei” fight will take place sometime after the season concludes.

Bellator MMA returns to Atlantic City on Nov. 15

In addition to Bellator middleweight world title action with champion Alexander Shlemenko against challenger Doug Marshall, Bellator will bring a handful of other fights with it when it returns to Revel Casino in Atlantic City, NJ on Nov. 15. The co-headliner will see former Bellator featherweight title contender Patricio Freire go for a second  Bellator featherweight tournament title against Justin Wilcox. Also, Marcos Galvao and Nah-Shon Burrell will see feature-bout action on the main card, while Anthony Morrison, Kenny Foster, Will Martines and others receive the spotlight on the preliminary card.

Whiteford replaces Wilkinson, meets Hettes at UFN 30

This weekend, MMA fans will get their first look at Robert Whiteford, who replaced an injured Mike Wilkinson over the weekend and will now draw Jimy “The Kid” Hettes at UFC Fight Night 30 in Manchester. Hettes last fought at UFC 152, where he dropped a decision to Marcus Brimage, and will fight for the first time in 2013. Whiteford, who splits his time between the Dinky Ninjas Fight Team and American Top Team, lost his pro debut and has yet to lose ever since.

Seery-Gomez added to CWFC 62

Dublin-born Cage Warriors flyweight champion Neil Seery will see action against UFC veteran Ulysses Gomez at Cage Warriors 62, live from Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013. Gomez fights for the first time since his release from the UFC, which came after a controversial UFC on Fuel TV 7 loss to Phil Harris. Meanwhile, Seery makes the first defense of his crown since becoming the promotion’s first flyweight champion by submitting Mikael Silander at Cage Warriors 55 in June.

Four bouts added to ONE FC’s Nov. 15 card

ONE FC: Warrior Spirit takes place at Putra Indoor Stadium in  Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Nov. 15, and will feature four top-notch fights. The finals of the first-ever ONE FC Malaysian National featherweight championship tournament culminates as Melvin Yeoh and AJ ‘Pyro’ Lias Mansor collide in the tournament final. Also, 21 year-old flyweight prospect Gianni Subba tangles with heavy-handed Chen Yun Ting. Also, Tennessean import Steven Durr faces undefeated Belgian prospect Samir Mrabet, while relentless finisher Nik Harris debuts agaisnt Zuli Silawanto, and in the main event of the evening, the world will see the inaugural ONE FC welterweight world champion emerge in a battle between Adam Kayoom and Nobutatsu Suzuki.
