With that heavyweight fight fizzling out, another one has been made, however. At UFC on Fox 10, Gabriel Gonzaga will meet Stipe Miocic. The card will be the first Fox-televised card in 2014. Thiago Silva has been forced to pull out of his co-main event fight at UFC Fight Night 35 against Ovince St. Preux. There has been no official reason given, however the promotion appears to be interested in securing a replacement for him. Trevino has gone 11-0 outside of the promotion, and hopes to be a part of the first card that the UFC holds in his home country of Mexico, which is expected to take place this April. While nothing is official as far as where he fights, he is currently not matched up against anyone either. What is known, however, is that he will drop to lightweight rather than continue to fight at welterweight. Source: MMA Junkie “Rumble” vs. Kyle off of WSOF 7 and other card updates There is a new main event for World Series of Fighting 7 as Mike Kyle has had to pull out of his fight against Anthony Johnson due to a broken toe that he suffered during training. With the card just a few weeks away, the promotion has decided to cancel the bout entirely rather than find “Rumble” a new opponent. With that, the former co-main event becomes the new main event, as Georgi Karakhanyan will meet Lance Palmer for the inaugural WSOF featherweight championship title. The loss of the original main event has caused a shakeup in the card, resulting in the following main card and preliminary card.
