On Friday, Nov. 22, Resurrection Fighting Alliance returned to the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colo. for its 11th event.

In the night’s main event, the promotion’s vacant flyweight title was up for grabs as Matt Manzanares battled former Bellator bantamweight kingpin Zach Makovsky. Manzanares looked to earn his third straight win, having submitted Steve Swanson at RFA 9 via second-round armbar and knocking out Kevin Gray in just 48 seconds at RFA 5. Makovsky, meanwhile, made his promotional debut on the heels of a unanimous decision win over fellow Bellator alum Claudio Ledesma in May.

The night’s co-main event featured a featherweight clash between UFC veteran Tyler Toner and undefeated Brazilian Raoni Barcelos. The match-up was put together at the last-minute as both fighters’ original opponents, Tommy Thompson and Alvin Robinson, respectively, were forced off the card. The Colorado native Toner got back in the win column in February with a second-round stoppage of Cody Carrillo. For Barcelos, the bout marked not only his promotional debut, but his first contest outside his native Brazil.

AXS TV broadcast the night’s six-fight main card beginning at 10 p.m. ET. The four-fight undercard, which was split between one professional bout and three amateur contests, went un-aired.
