On Saturday, Dec. 7, World Series of Fighting hosted its seventh event from the PNE Agrodome in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

In the night’s main event, the promotion crowned its inaugural featherweight champion as Georgi Karakhanyan battled Lance Palmer. Karakhanyan, a Bellator and Dream veteran, stepped into the cage riding an eight-fight winning streak. The 28-year-old scored a first-round submission win over Waylon Lowe in his WSOF debut earlier this year. Meanwhile, the Team Alpha Male product, Palmer, made his promotional debut on the heels of a seven-fight undefeated run to kick off his career. The former Ohio State wrestler was last in action under the RFA banner, where he claimed its 145-pound title via unanimous decision.

Also on the night’s main card, former MFC middleweight champion Elvis Mutapcic clashed with The Ultimate Fighter alum Jesse Taylor in the promotion’s 185-pound tournament semifinal, undefeated lightweight Nick Newell took on Sabah Fadai, and UFC veteran Kalib Starnes faced off with Dwayne Lewis.

The four-fight main card kicked off at 9 p.m. ET live on the NBC Sports Network. The preliminary card streamed live on the promotion’s website.
