Cain Velasquez undergoes successful surgery

UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez posted a photo on Wednesday following a successful surgery for a torn labrum on his left shoulder.

Velasquez is hoping to be back in the Octagon in 2014, barring any setbacks.

Diego Sanchez signs new contract, eyes UFC 171

As announced on UFC Tonight, Diego “The Dream” Sanchez has signed a new multi-fight contract with the UFC.

Sanchez, who has been fighting within the UFC since 2005, is hoping to return to the Octagon in March for UFC 171 in Dallas.

Pyle and Waldburger join UFC 170

Mike Pyle and T.J. Waldburger have been added to the UFC 170 card that takes place on Feb. 22, 2014 in Las Vegas.

Pyle and Waldburger have combined for 29 submission victories in their career and are both looking to get back track following losses to Matt Brown and Adam Amagov, respectively.

Bruno Carvalho injured, off of CWFC 61 Card

Once again the main event of CWFC 61 will go through a makeover as Bruno Carvalho has pulled out of his fight against Matt Inman due to an injury. Stepping in to fight Inman will be Hakon Foss out of Sweden.

CWFC 61 takes place Dec. 13 in Amman, Jordan.
