One house, 16 fighters. It might not seem all that daunting, but each season, The Ultimate Fighter’s format takes a toll, both mentally and physically, on the fighters seeking to snag that six-figure contract.

The latest bunch of fighters hail from Canada and Australia. Although the rivalry among these nations may not be all that strong, the desire that these athletes have to emerge with a trophy and the honor of fighting inside the Octagon in front of a live audience most certainly is. With Kyle Noke coaching the Australian contingent and Patrick Cote overseeing the Canadian crew, The Ultimate Fighter: Nations, Canada vs. Australia kicks off Jan. 15 and airs every Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1.
