On Friday, Jan. 31, Legacy Fighting Championship visited the Arena Theater in Houston for its 27th event. The main card aired live on AXS TV.

In the night’s main event, UFC veteran Tim Means locked horns with Houston’s own Artenas Young. Means, who went 2-2 in the Octagon, got back in the win column in September with a vicious knockout of fellow big-show veteran Pete Spratt at Legacy FC 23. Young, meanwhile, has alternated wins and losses over the last two years of action, besting Jonathan Harris at Legacy FC 25 in November.

The night’s co-main event featured undefeated flyweight and Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo against fellow unbeaten Elias Garcia.

Also on the main card, Larry Crowe faced off with Terrance Ferguson, Alex Black clashed with Charles Cheeks, Caio Machado battled Domingo Pilarte, and Kamarudeen Usman took on Steven Rodriguez.

The 11-fight event kicked off with five, un-aired preliminary card bouts. The night’s six-fight main card was shown live on AXS TV beginning at 10 p.m. ET.
