UFC’s Trip to Cincinnati Adds Two Fights

The UFC’s visit to Ohio in May will have an Australian flavor.

The promotion has revealed that heavyweight Soa Palelei will welcome South African Ruan Potts to the Octagon, while TUF alum Ben Wall will square off with Colorado-based lightweight Justin Salas.

Although no main event has been announced, the UFC Fight Night card will take place May 10 from the U.S. Bank Arena and will air on Fox Sports 1.

UFC Adds Former Hockey Enforcer Steve Bosse

A light heavyweight battle between Canadians Steve Bosse and Ryan Jimmo has been added to the promotion’s April 16 visit to Quebec City.

Bosse will enter the Octagon for the first time riding an eight-fight winning streak that includes seven stoppages.

The TUF: Nations Finale takes place from the Pepsi Coliseum in Quebec and is headlined by a middleweight fight between Michael Bisping and Tim Kennedy.

Tibau Out, Prazeres In at UFC Fight Night 38

Brazilian lightweight Gleison Tibau has been forced out of his planned UFC Fight Night 38 clash with Mairbek Taisumov on March 23.

Stepping in for Tibau will be countryman Michel Prazeres,

UFC Fight Night 38 takes place from the Ginasio Nelio Dias in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The event features a light heavyweight rematch between MMA legends Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Dan Henderson.

Pendred Vacates Belt, Title On the Line at CWFC 66

Welterweight Cathal Pendred has vacated his Cage Warriors championship to pursue a spot of The Ultimate Fighter 19.

The belt will be on the line at CWFC 66 as Denmark’s Nicolas Dalby will take on Ukraine’s Sergei Churilov.

The event takes place from Copenhagen’s Ballerup Super Arena on Saturday, March 22.

Three Bouts Added to MFC 40

Maximum Fighting Championship’s 40th event on May 9 has added three bouts.

At lightweight, Jonatas Novaes takes on Andrew McInnes while Marcus Edwards faces off with Aaron Gallant. The event also features a rescheduled bout from MFC 39 as Sean O’Connell battles Victor Valimaki at light heavyweight.

MFC 40 takes place from the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta and airs live on AXS TV. It is headlined by a lightweight title bout between Kurt Southern and Tom Gallicchio.
