Evolve Mixed Martial Arts will hold its inaugural tryouts for the Evolve Fight Team in the summer of 2014. The goal for the Evolve Fight Team is to add 15 professional athletes to its roster. The tryouts are set to take place on June 21-22 in Singapore.

The camp announced its plan for the tryouts in a recent press release.

Athletes interested in participating in the tryouts can register on the Evolve MMA website. Fighters will be asked to submit a list of their credentials and their fight record. Evolve Fight Team’s head coach, Heath Sims, along with the entire coaching staff at Evolve MMA, will review the entries and extend official invitations to a limited number of applicants. Invited athletes will be expected to arrive in Singapore no later than June 20 and are expected to remain in the city until June 25.

The Evolve Fight Team has built an impressive roster of international talent. The camp is now home to such notable names as former Bellator welterweight champion Ben Askren, ONE FC lightweight champ Shinya Aoki, former Strikeforce welterweight champion Tarec Saffiedine, UFC fighters Rafael dos Anjos and Leandro Issa, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World champions Herbert Burns and Bruno Pucci, and Muay Thai champions Attachai Fairtex, Orono Wor Petchpun and Namsaknoi Yudthagarngamtorn.

“We are continuously looking to expand the Evolve Fight Team and to help more fighters unleash their potential. The selected athletes will have unlimited access to our world-renowned championship training schedule, state-of-the-art facilities, and will see themselves training alongside the very best in the business,” Sims said in the press release.

“The selected athletes will also have their careers managed and will potentially have an opportunity to compete in the world’s largest fight organizations, such as ONE FC and UFC. In addition, they will also have an amazing opportunity to help change the lives of our students through martial arts as full-time instructors at Evolve MMA,” he added.
