On Friday, March 7, Resurrection Fighting Alliance hosted its 13th event from the Pershing Center in Lincoln, Neb.

The night’s main event featured a lightweight battle between Ultimate Fighter season eight winner Efrain Escudero and TUF: Live alum Dakota Cochrane. Escudero was looking to continue his three-fight winning streak that includes wins under the Bellator and CFA banners. Cochrane, meanwhile, was aiming to bounce back from a submission loss to Chris Heatherly in October.

In the co-main event, the promotion determined whether Andrew Sanchez or Miles Marshall will challenge Kevin Casey for the promotion’s vacant middleweight title later this year. Both fighters impressed in their promotional debuts in late 2013, with each walking away with first-round finishes.

The event featured a total of 15 bouts. The night’s action kicked off with eight amateur contests and is followed by seven professional fights. The main card aired live on AXS TV starting at 10 p.m. ET.
