All-women’s promotion Invicta Fighting Championships has signed atomweight Jinh Yu Frey and flyweight Amanda Bobby Cooper.

The promotion revealed the news via its Facebook page.

Texas’ Frey joins the promotion with an unblemished 2-0 record. The 28-year-old Taekwondo practitioner has scored both of her professional wins in the first round, including an impressive knockout of Darla Harris in July of last year. Frey compiled a record of 4-2 on the amateur circuit.

Cooper, meanwhile, joins the promotion’s ever-expanding 125-pound division. The Michigan fighter turned pro in February, scoring a second-round submission of Brittany Dugas via armbar under the King of the Cage banner. The 22-year-old competed as an amateur for over three years, stretching her record to 8-3 before turning pro.

The additions of Frey and Cooper come roughly one month after the promotion added 15 fighters to its roster. The promotion has restocked after the UFC purchased the contracts of 11 strawweight competitors to compete on the 20th season of The Ultimate Fighter.

The Kansas City-based organization is planning six events in 2014 and is targeting late April for its eighth event. A date, as well as broadcast plans, are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
