On Friday, March 14, Bellator MMA hosted its 112th event from the Horseshoe Hammond Casino in Hammond, Ind.

In the night’s main event, Bellator featherweight champion Daniel Straus put his 145-pound title on the line against the man he defeated to earn the belt, Pat Curran. The pair first met in 2009 under the XFO banner with Curran scoring a second-round knockout. Straus got revenge in November of last year, taking a five-round unanimous decision. The rubber match was once again be for Bellator gold.

Also on the card, the promotion kicked off its eight-man season 10 welterweight tournament. Former UFC combatant Nah-Shon Burrell squared off against former tournament winner Andrey Koreshkov, unbeaten Cristiano Souza faced off with Sam Oropeza, veteran Jesse Juarez took on another undefeated fighter in Adam McDonough, and UFC veteran Paul Bradley met Strikeforce alum Nathan Coy.

The night’s preliminary card kicked off at 6:45 p.m. ET on Spike.com. The main card aired live on Spike TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET.
