The UFC has announced that tryouts for The Ultimate Fighter 20 will take place Monday, April 28 at the Palace Station Hotel in Las Vegas.

TUF 20 will mark the reality show’s first all-female cast, as the promotion introduces the 115-pound strawweight division. The winner of the show will be crowded the inaugural UFC strawweight champion.

Candidates will by vying for one of five open slots on the reality show.  In December, the promotion announced that it had acquired 11 fighters from all-women’s promotion Invicta Fighting Championships. Those fighters include current Invicta FC champion Carla Esparza, undefeated Brazilian Claudia Gadelha, Bellator veteran Felice Herrig, undefeated Scottish fighter Joanne Calderwood, unbeaten Tecia Torres, Australians Bec Hyatt and Alex Chambers, Rose Namajunas, Emily Kagan, Julianna Lima and Paige Van Zant.

A number of fighters who have competed outside the 115-pound division have already announced their intentions to try out for the show, including former Invicta FC atomweight (105 pounds) champion Jessica Penne.

Fighters looking to try out must be between the ages of 21 and 34 years of age and have a winning professional record. TUF 20 will begin filming in May and will debut on Fox Sports 1 on Sept. 10. The show will be coached by Gilbert Melendez and current lightweight champion Anthony Pettis. Pettis and Melendez will fight for the 155-pound title in late 2014.
