Las Vegas-based amateur promotion Tuff-N-Uff has announced a four-woman strawweight tournament with the winner earning a contract with all-women’s professional promotion, Invicta Fighting Championships.

The opening round of the tournament will take place at the promotion’s April 11 event at The Orleans Hotel & Casino. The finals will take place on June 7 at the Thomas and Mack Center.

The four women tabbed for the tournament are Jianna Denizard, Jamie Moyle, Laura Uyeda and Molly Wren-Holmes.

Denizard is a lanky striker hailing from Texas. However, two of her fives wins have come via submission. At 5-foot-7, she will tower over the other tournament competitors.

Based in Las Vegas, Moyle trains at Syndicate MMA. At just 5-foot-1, she is the shortest of the four women. Moyle has suffered two losses during her amateur career, but they have come against unbeaten UFC fighter Tecia Torres and recent Invicta signee Delaney Owen.

The unbeaten Uyeda possesses a strong ground game that includes a bronze medal in the No-Gi Worlds. The 29-year-old Arkansas product has finished three of her five contests, including two by submission.

Also undefated, California’s Wren-Holmes has stopped three of her four opponents by strikes in the first round. Her first fight lasted just eight seconds and she also has another win in less than a minute.

“Tuff-N-Uff has long supported women’s martial arts, and we’ve been fortunate enough to have some of the best ladies in the game compete in our cage,” Tuff-N-Uff Vice President Jeff Meyer said. “The chance to partner with the best all-women’s MMA organization in the sport for this unique opportunity was a natural fit for us, and I’m looking forward to seeing this tournament play out.”
