Luke Barnatt (Dave Mandel/Sherdog)Barnatt-Strickland Latest Addition to UFC’s Return to Germany Trey Downey March 26, 2014 News The UFC’s return to Germany has added an intriguing match-up of middleweight prospects. England’s Luke Barnatt and American Sean Strickland will both look to stay unbeaten in their professional careers on May 31 in Berlin. Barnatt has eight professional fights and has looked great since entering the UFC. The lanky Brit has won all three of his bouts by different methods. He first defeated Colin Hart by decision, followed that up with a submission win over Andrew Craig and recently scored a TKO over Mats Nilsson in London. Strickland has almost twice the fights as Barnatt with fourteen, but he has only entered the Octagon once. Strickland looked outstanding in that lone appearance. He dominated and submitted Barnatt’s cast-mate on The Ultimate Fighter 17, Robert “Bubba” McDaniel, in less than a round. UFC Fight Night 41 takes place from the 02 World Arena in Berlin, Germany. That card is headlined by a bout between Mark Munoz and Gegard Mousassi and will be broadcast via the promotion’s digital network, UFC Fight Pass.
