Bellator 115 Weigh-in Results

While heavyweight champion Vitaly Minakov and challenger Cheick Kongo but made weight with ease at the Bellator 115 weigh-ins, there was a lot of drama that took place for the promotion leading up to today’s event.  Two season 10 tournament bouts have been removed from the card for various reasons.  The first scrapped fight was a welterweight semifinal fight between Andrey Koreshkov and Sam Oropeza due to Koreshkov suffering from the flu.  The promotion has said that this fight will be moved to a future card.

The other fight that was removed was a middleweight semifinal bout that was going to feature Jeremy Kimball and Dan Cramer.  The fight was taken off of the card due to the fact that Kimball was unable to make weight.  There is no official word as to how the promotion will deal with this situation.

The card will go on with eight scheduled bouts.  The official weigh-in results are as follows:

Bellator Heavyweight World Title Bout: Cheick Kongo (232.8) vs. Vitaly Minakov (253.4)
Welterweight Bout: Herman Terrado (170) vs. Justin Baesman (170.9)
Light Heavyweight Bout: Volkan Oezdemir (205.6) vs. Kelly Anundson (205.8)
Catchweight Bout (195lbs): Johnny Cisneros (192.6) vs. Mikkel Parlo (193.5)
Welterweight Bout: James Terry (170.3) vs. Rick Reeves (170.1)
Heavyweight Bout: Freddie Aquitania (238) vs. Josh Appelt (242.9)
Lightweight Bout: Jason Powell (155.2) vs. Sinjen Smith (155.1)
Flyweight Bout: Benito Lopez (125.9) vs. Oscar Ramirez (126)

Bellator 115 takes place tomorrow night from Reno, Nev.
