Ortiz-Shlemenko targeted for Bellator 120

Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko may do battle with a legend of the sport at Bellator 120 on May 17. As has been teased throughout the week, Shlemenko appears on course for a battle with MMA legend and former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz. The bout, which Bellator MMA officials are hopeful will air as part of the pay-per-view main card, would mark Ortiz’s first bout since his UFC 148 tilt with Forrest Griffin, which Ortiz lost via decision. “The Storm” submitted Brennan Ward last month for his 50th pro win, as well as another successful title defense.
