UFC 172 Finalizes Card with Addition of Chris Beal vs. Patrick Williams

This month’s UFC 172 card has been finalized with a late addition. A bantamweight contest between Chris Beal and Patrick Williams has been added to the card. Beal recently returned from an 18-month layoff to earn a TKO win over Keith Carson. Williams is a veteran of the Florida MMA scene and has competed in promotions like XFC and CFA.

UFC 172 is set for April 26 and will feature a light heavyweight title showdown between UFC champ Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira. The evening’s co-main event is scheduled to showcase a pair of light heavyweight contenders in Phil Davis and Anthony “Rumble” Johnson, who will make his Octagon return.

Titan FC 28: Brilz vs. Davis Moves to New Date

The upcoming Titan FC 28 card which will feature a headliner fight between Jason Brilz and Raphael Davis has been moved to May 16 and will now take place at the First Council Casino Hotel in Newkirk, Okla. The event will now stream on CBSSports.com which Titan FC officials believe will allow a broader audience to view their product.

Former UFC fighters Dave Herman and Kalib Starnes will square off on the card,  and will also feature Brock Jardine, Daniel Roberts and Walel Watson.

TUF Brazil 3 Finale Gets New Name and New Fights

The TUF Brazil 3 Finale (previously known as UFC Fight Night 42) has added three additional bouts to the card. TUF Brazil winner Rony Jason will face Robert Peralta, Diego Brandao takes on Brian Ortega, and Matt Hobar will battle Pedro Munhoz.

The main card will be headlined by a heavyweight contest between former champion Junior dos Santos and rising contender Stipe Miocic. Also on the main card will be Demian Maia vs. Aleander Yakovlev. The card is scheduled for May 31 from the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
