If you are a gamer and a MMA fan, there is no doubt you cannot wait for EA SPORTS UFC to hit the streets on June 17. Even most UFC fighters we’ve talked to—including flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and flyweight Scott Jorgensen—cannot wait to get their hands on the first major fighting game released for the next-generation consoles.

From all the footage released thus far, EA’s first UFC game looks absolutely amazing. The textures and details put into each fighter are on a level that has never been seen in any console game, period. However, seeing teaser trailers is one thing; seeing if EA can incorporate those textures into the game is another.

Well, EA has released the first uncut gameplay footage, and it looks incredible.

In this video, not only does EA tease us with gameplay footage that make June 17 seem like an eternity away, but they also feature a superfight with lightweight champion Anthony Pettis squaring off against featherweight champion Jose Aldo.

From the looks of it, EA SPORTS UFC looks to be the best entry into the UFC video-game franchise to date. The character movements are fluid, the striking doesn’t look robotic, and it seems that improvements have been finally made in the ground aspect of the game. Combine that with real-time damage and completely revamped commentary from Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan, and you are all but guaranteed to be happy when you go drop $60 on this title.

EA SPORTS UFC will be available for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles. Click above to view the video footage.
