The UFC’s August return to Macau has added another bout.

The MMA Corner has confirmed that The Ultimate Fighter: Nations combatant Brendan O’Reilly will square off with The Ultimate Fighter: China winner Zhang Lipeng at the Aug. 23 event in a lightweight contest.

Brisbane, Australia’s O’Reilly carries an unblemished professional record into his official UFC debut. Competing as a welterweight, “Badger” succumbed to a first-round rear-naked choke against Kajan Johnson during his stint on TUF: Nations. The promotion saw enough from the Gamebred Combat Club product to give him another opportunity in the Octagon, this time in his more natural weight class of 155 pounds. O’Reilly’s last official contest came in February of 2013, where he submitted Mike Aarts at Fury MMA 5 in his native Australia.

Like his opponent, China’s Lipeng also competed at welterweight during his time on the Chinese installment of the reality show. He earned a controversial split decision win over countryman Wang Sai at the TUF: China Finale in March. The 24-year-old sits just one fight above the .500 mark for his career, but his reality show win helped improve his stock. Prior to his stint on the reality show, the Inner Mongolia native had dropped two straight under the Real Fight Championship banner in his homeland.

UFC Fight Night 48 will take place from The Venetian’s CotaiArena in Macau, China. The event is expected to stream live via the promotion’s digital network, UFC Fight Pass, on Saturday, Aug. 23. The card will be headlined by a middleweight clash between England’s Michael Bisping and former Strikeforce title holder Cung Le. The night’s co-main event will feature a welterweight bout between former Bellator champion Hector Lombard and South Korea’s Dong Hyun Kim.
