UFC Dublin gets Holohan-Sampo

Josh Sampo returns to the Octagon on July 19 in the UFC’s debut in Dublin, Ireland. After successfully submitting Ryan Benoit in November, Sampo now comes off of a recent loss to Zach Makovsky to contend with Irish MMA standout Patrick Holohan. Holohan fell short in attempting to get into the TUF House during The Ultimate Fighter 18, but he still maintains an unbeaten run with nine wins and one draw in ten professional bouts.

Brimage-Doane slated for UFC 175 in Las Vegas

Marcus Brimage will see action at UFC 175 next month as he combats rising prospect Russell Doane. Brimage last fought in a losing effort to Conor McGregor last year in Sweden. Doane submitted Leandro Issa in the UFC’s debut in Singapore earlier this year.

Roop welcomes newcomer Font at UFC 175

TUF 8 veteran George Roop will welcome Rob Font to the UFC at UFC 175 next month. Roop will come off of a unanimous-decision win over Dustin Kimura at The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale. Font, the reigning CES MMA featherweight champion, makes his UFC debut, as well as a move to bantamweight, on the heels of a nine-fight winning streak, including four recent finishes.

Tuerxun to meet Issa at TUF 19 Finale

Jumabieke Tuerxun will meet Leandro Issa when the UFC comes back to Las Vegas for The Ultimte Fighter 19 Finale on July 6. Tuerxun suffered a defeat in his UFC debut, which came opposite Filipino featherweight Mark Eddiva. The Singapore-based Brazilian Issa suffered a submission loss to Russell Doane in Singapore this past January.
