On Saturday, June 14, ONE Fighting Championship hosted its 17th event, dubbed Era of Champions, from the Mata Elang International Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The event was headlined by a flyweight contest between Brazilian Adriano Moraes and Japan’s Kosuke Suzuki. The 26-year-old Moraes bounced back from the first loss of his career in his ONE FC debut to submit UFC veteran Yasuhiro Urushitani at ONE FC 14 in March. Across the cage, the 29-year-old Suzuki had spent his entire 15-fight career under the Shooto banner. His promotional debut came with the momentum of a five-fight winning streak.

In the co-main event, a pair of promotional newcomers locked horns as Indonesia’s Fransino Tirta lookeds to keep his undefeated record intact against Egypt’s Sami Amin. Tirta had been competing for more than a decade, but has fought sparingly since 2007. Amin, meanwhile, had stopped three of his four wins with strikes.

The nine-fight event kicked off at 7 a.m. ET with two preliminary card bouts. The main card followed at 8 a.m ET. It aired via online pay-per-view for $9.99.
