Ryan Bader vs. Ovince Saint Preux Main Event of UFC Fight Night in Maine

After picking up wins at UFC 174, Ryan Bader and Ovince Saint Preux will headline the UFC Fight Night card from Maine together. Bader has won three out of his last four while OSP has won five in a row.

The event is scheduled for Aug. 16 in Bangor.

Joe Lauzon vs. Michael Chiesa Added to UFC Fight Night 50 Card

Joe Lauzon will be competing for the first time since his December 2013 win over Mac Danzig on Sept. 5. His opponent will be Michael Chiesa. Lauzon is a master at picking up post-fight bonus awards and Chiesa is 3-1 since winning TUF 15.

UFC Fight Night 50 is scheduled for Sept. 5 at Foxwoods in Connecticut.

Benson Henderson vs. Rafael Dos Anjos Headlines UFC Fight Night in Tulsa

Benson Henderson will look to remain the No. 1-ranked lightweight as he faces Rafael Dos Anjos in a five-round main event. Henderson will be competing for the third time since dropping the title to Anthony Pettis at UFC 164 while Dos Anjos got back on track by defeating Jason High.

The event is scheduled for Aug. 23 in Tulsa, Okla.

Miesha Tate Welcomes Rin Nakai to the Octagon

Miesha Tate will face UFC newcomer Rin Nakai when the promotion heads to Japan later this year. Tate recently picked up a hard-fought decision win over Liz Carmouche while Nakai sports an unblemished record.

The UFC event from Japan is scheduled for Sept. 20 with the card likely airing live on UFC Fight Pass.

Brandon Vera Parts Ways with UFC

Brandon Vera and the UFC have parted ways, ending an eight-year run in the promotion. Vera was once one of the most promising prospects in the UFC but following a contract dispute that put his career on hold, Vera was never the same fighter.

Vera ends his UFC career with an 8-7 record with one no contest.

T.J. O’ Brien Replaces Brian Cobb vs. Luis Palomino at WSOF 11

Brian Cobb is out against Luis Palomino with T.J. O’Brien taking Cobb’s place. The fight will be on the WSOF 11 preliminary card. The WSOF 11 event is the first time the promotion is aired on network-television.

The event is scheduled for July 5 at the Ocean Center in Daytona, Fla.

Leanardo Mafra Replaces John Howard at UFC Fight Night 45

John Howard is injured and out of his scheduled contest with Rick Story at UFC Fight Night 45. In Howard’s place will be Leonardo Mafra. The Brazilian was a semifinalis on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil.

UFC Fight Night 45 is scheduled for July 16 at the Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. The headliner is expected to be Donald Cerrone vs. Jim Miller.

Joe Ellenberger to Face James Moontasri at UFC Fight Night 44

Joe Ellenberger has another new opponent. This time it’s James Moontasri who will be stepping in for an injured Bryan Barberena.  Both men will be making their UFC debuts.

UFC Fight Night 44 is scheduled for June 28 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio and will be headlined by a featherweight fight between Cub Swanson and Jeremy Stephens.
