On Friday, July 4, the UFC will host the weigh-ins for UFC 175: Weidman vs. Machida which takes place Saturday, July 5, from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

In the night’s main event, the promotion’s middleweight title will be on the line as champion Chris Weidman squares off with former lightweight heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida. Weidman captured the belt with a stunning knockout of Anderson Silva at UFC 162, and then retained the title in their rematch at UFC 168. The Brazilian Machida, meanwhile, has picked up back-to-back wins at 185 pounds: a knockout of Mark Munoz and a decision win over Gegard Mousasi.

The night’s co-main event will also feature UFC gold on the line as women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey looks to continue her dominance at 135 pounds as she faces off with Canadian Alexis Davis. Rousey was last in action at UFC 170, scoring her first TKO win over Sara McMann. Davis rides the momentum of a five-fight winning streak into the title affair, including three straight inside the Octagon.

Rounding out the main card will be a heavyweight clash between Matt Mitrione and Stefan Struve, a middleweight contest between Uriah Hall and Thiago Santos, and a bantamweight battle featuring Marcus Brimage and Russell Doane.

The 11-fight card kicks off Saturday at 7 p.m. ET with two fights streaming on UFC Fight Pass. Four additional bouts follow on Fox Sports 1 on at 8 p.m. ET, with the pay-per-view main card beginning at 10 p.m. ET.
