Welterweights Richard Walsh and Kiichi Kunimoto will square off at UFC Fight Night 52 in Saitama, Japan on Sept. 20

The Ultimate Fighter: Nations contestant Walsh made his official UFC debut against fellow Australian Chris Indich in April. The unanimous decision victory stretched the 25-year-old’s current winning streak to six. Walsh’s lone loss came against TUF: Smashes winner Robert Whittaker. Four of his eight career wins have come via knockout.

Meanwhile, the Japanese veteran Kunimoto has won his past six fights and enters the bout sporting a two-fight winning streak inside the Octagon. More than half of the 33-year-old’s win have come via submission. Prior to his UFC stint, the fighter spent time in Pancrase and Heat.

UFC Fight Night 52 takes place from the Saitama Arena and will be headlined by a heavyweight clash between Mark Hunt and Roy Nelson. Numerous Japanese stars are expected for the card including former Pride champion Takanori Gomi, the debut of Queen of Pancrase Rin Nakai, and the returns of Yoshihiro Akiyama and Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto. The event is expected to air live via the promotion’s digital streaming network, UFC Fight Pass.
