On Friday, July 11, ONE Fighting Championship hosted its 18th event, dubbed War of Dragons, from the National Taiwan University Sports Center in Taipei City, Taiwan.

The event was headlined by a featherweight contest between Australia’s Rob Lisita and Filipino submission ace Eric Kelly. The pair battled for a title shot against current champion Koji Oishi. The Phuket Top Team fighter Lisita entered the cage riding a four-fight winning streak, with all four wins coming via stoppage. The 31-year-old demolished Yusuke Kawanago in just 28 seconds in his promotional debut in May. Kelly, meanwhile, suffered the first loss of his career in his last appearance in the ONE FC cage. The 32-year-old suffered an eye injury in the fourth round of his fight with Honorio Banario last February. Kelly bounced back with the eighth submission win of his career under the URCC in November.

In the co-main event, lightweights Koji Ando and Rafael Nunes locked horns in their promotional debuts. Ando stepped into the cage with the momentum of three-fight winning streak under the Legend FC banner. Nunes, meanwhile, carried an unblemished record into the cage, including nine wins before the final bell.

The 10-fight event kicked off at 6:30 a.m. ET with three preliminary card bouts. The main card followed at 8 a.m ET. It aired via online pay-per-view for $9.99.
