Faith Van Duin to Defend Storm Damage Title Against Arlene Blencowe on Aug. 30 Neil Rooke July 30, 2014 News Faith Van Duin’s opponent for her Aug. 30 featherweight title defense at Storm Damage 5 has been confirmed. The MMA Corner has learned from sources close to the event, that Van Duin is set to meet Arlene Blencowe. The pair fought to a split decision during the one-night elimination gauntlet at Storm Damage 3, where Van Duin eventually went on to win the belt in a much anticipated bout with countrywoman Kate Da Silva. Van Duin is unbeaten in her professional career and is currently riding a four-fight winning-streak. This bout is set to be the first for her since being signed with Invicta FC. Since her loss to Van Duin, Blencowe has put together back-to-back wins, defeating Mae-Lin Leow and Kenani Mangakahia. Blencowe, an accomplished boxer, showcased her grappling prowess in her last bout where she defeated Mangakahia via triangle choke. The event is also set to feature heavyweight champion Andrew Machin defending his title against Benjamin Sosoli as well as a welterweight title fight with Kevin Ryan defending his belt against MMA veteran Jon Leven. The lightweight title is also on the line in a four-man one-night tournament that sees Leo Diaz facing off with Dimitar Dimitrovski and Adrian Moxon meeting Luke Pung.
