On this past Friday’s edition of Inside MMA on AXS TV, hosts Kenny Rice and Bas Rutten had the opportunity to speak with UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw about his rematch against Renen Barao, the man whom Dillashaw defeated to earn the championship at UFC 173. The two will square off in a rematch scheduled to take place at UFC 177 on August 30. In this interview, Dillashaw explains why he did or did not want an immediate rematch against Barao.

Also on the show, Bas and Kenny had the opportunity to speak with Eddie Alvarez, the latest addition to the UFC roster. Alvarez signed with the promotion after the Bellator lightweight champion received his unconditional release from the promotion. He is scheduled to make his UFC debut at UFC 178 on September 27 against the always dangerous Donald Cerrone. In this interview, Alvarez gave his thoughts on what future with the UFC will hold for him.
