b5PeTaasRKIUriah Faber Previews UFC 177 Jason Lundgren August 27, 2014 Events, News, Spotlight, Video While we have posted many videos giving fans an inside look at how UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw is preparing for his rematch against Renan Barao, there haven’t been many from inside their camps speaking. Well, until now there hasn’t. Former WEC featherweight champion and current UFC bantamweight Uriah Faber, part of Team Alpha Male’s “Fab 5″ took the time to give a little insight on his training partner’s preparation for his fight with Barao, along with a little insight on how driven the champion is to be the best in the world. In their first bout at UFC 173 a mere three months ago, Dillashaw sent shock waves throughout the mixed martial arts world when he scored a fifth round TKO victory over Barao to win the bantamweight champion. Many people have called it the biggest upset in UFC history, putting it over Matt Serra’s TKO victory over Georges St-Pierre to win the welterweight title at UFC 69. UFC 177 will take place at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, CA. on Saturday, August 30. The rest of the main card breaks down as followed: Lightweight bout – Tony Ferguson vs. Danny Castillo Bantamweight bout – Bethe Correia vs. Shayna Baszler Lightweight bout – Ramsey Nijem vs. Carlos Diego Ferreira Lightweight bout – Yancy Medeiros vs. Justin Edwards.
