Tonight from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV, pound-for-pound kingpin Floyd “Money” Mayweather will be taking on Marcos Maidana in a rematch of their epic battle this past May.

There first bout was a great back-and-forth battle, with each fighter giving as good as they took. Although Mayweather landed more strikes and was more accurate with his punches, Maidana’s superior punching power was clearly evident, as Mayweather’s face was swollen and bloodied up. Most of the press on Twitter believed the fight should have been a 114-114 draw, but only one the judges at ringside saw the fight as a draw, and awarded Mayweather with a majority decision victory with scores of 117-111, 116-112, and 114-114.

The bout between 11-time title holder Mayweather and former welterweight title holder Maidana can be viewed on Showtime pay-per-view. If you can’t catch the bout on pay-per-view, worry not as we will have you covered throughout the entire evening. The entire card breaks down as follows:

Floyd Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana

Round 1—Not much happened. Floyd ran around the ring; Maidana didn’t get off too many punches, but he landed more than Floyd. 10-9 Maidana

Round 2—Floyd worked superior boxing skills to outclass Maidana. 10-9 Mayweather.

Round 3—Floyd couldn’t miss with his right, but almost got dropped at the end of the round by a right from Maidana. 10-9 Mayweather.

Round 4—Maidana pressured early and landed some good punches. Mayweather countered very well. Very, very close round, leaning towards Floyd. 10-9 Mayweather.

Round 5—Maidana lowered his output, while Mayweather did what Mayweather does and landed accurate punches. 10-9 Mayweather

Round 6—Mayweather held on to Maidana quite a bit. Maidana landed some good punches. Very close, could go either way. 10-9 Maidana.

Round 7—Mayweather totally worked over Maidana. He seems to be finding his groove now. 10-9 Mayweather

Round 8—Good round for Mayweather. Mayweather claimed Maidana bit his fingers. Really, really odd round. 10-9 Mayweather

Round 9—Maidana tripled Mayweather’s output, but they landed the same amount of punches. Very close 10-9 Maidana

Round 10—Maidana had a point deducted for “throwing” Mayweather to the mat. Mayweather landed the cleaner punches. 10-8 Mayweather.

Round 11—Mayweather landing the more powerful punches and doing great body work. 10-9 Mayweather.

Round 12—Maidana tried; Mayweather played Dance Dance Revolution for 3 minutes. 10-9 Maidana.

Round 11—This is pretty much a glorified sparring session, but Bey did get off more and better than Vazquez. 10-9 Bey.

Alfredo Angulo vs. James de la Rosa

Round 1—Angulo did the much better work. 10-9 Angulo.

Round 2—de la Rosa landed the better counter punches during the round and dropped Angulo at the end of the round. 10-8 de la Rosa.

Round 3—de la Rosa’s speed is too much for Angulo too much to deal with. 10-9 de la Rosa.

Round 4—No head movement from Angulo; de la Rosa capitalizing using his superior boxing skills. 10-9 de la Rosa.

Round 5—Late flurry by Angulo, but it came too late. de la Rosa’s boxing keeps winning him rounds. 10-9 de la Rosa.

Round 6—Angulo got cut on his right eye. de la Rosa still winning rounds easy. 10-9 de la Rosa.

Round 7—de la Rosa still outworking and outboxing Angulo, but he seems to be slowing a bit. Angulo deducted a point for low blows. 10-8 de la Rosa
