This Saturday, the UFC will once again be taking Japan by storm as they will be taking over the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan for UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs. Nelson.

Mark Hunt (#6 heavyweight, 9-8-1) has been on a career resurgence. Since he has begin his UFC career, he turned his sub .500 record around and now has more wins than losses in MMA. After scoring back to back knockouts over Cheick Kongo and Stefan Struve, Hunt was knocked out by Junior dos Santos in the third round of there bout, then went on to a five round draw in his fight against Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva. Many believe the fight with Silva was 2013’s fight of the year.

Roy Nelson (#8 heavyweight, 21-9) recently ended his two fight losing skid when he knocked out Minotauro Nogueira in the first round of their bout just five months ago. With Hunt being ranked two spots higher than him, a decisive and violent ending on Saturday could very well propel “Big Country” to title contender status.

Also on the card, Takanori Gomi will step back inside the Octagon for the second time this year when he squares off against #9 lightweight Miles Jury. Jury has gone undefeated in his career thus far, and a win over an MMA legend like Gomi could make his stock rise. Gomi, on the other hand, is on the tail end of his career. It’s now or never for the former Pride champion, who has gone a lackluster 4-4 since joining the UFC in 2012.

The rest of the main card as is followed:

Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Amir Sadollah

Miesha Tate vs. Rin Nakai

Kiichi Kunimoto vs. Richard Walsh

Koyji Horiguchi vs. Jon Delos Reyes

The main and preliminary bouts will all air live on UFC Fight Pass. The six prelim bouts will begin at 12:30 am EST, and the main card will kick of at 3:00 am EST. This is a card you’ll surely want to say up to catch live.

If you have any thought or predictions, tweet them to @TheMMACorner and we’ll be sure to get them on the air.
