By Adam Hunter Jason Lundgren September 18, 2014 Events, Previews, Spotlight For those of you who follow comedian Adam Hunter on Twitter @mmaroasted, you already know any fight night is going to be a good fight night. No matter how lackluster any MMA card may be, Adam is always there to make anyone following his tweets laugh their ass off. However, what you may not know is Adam also has a series of YouTube videos. On there, you can catch clips of his non-MMA related standup comedy (which is also highly recommended) along side MMA Roasted videos for every major UFC event. In this edition of MMA Roasted, Adam discusses flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson, how Tim Kennedy effects television ratings, the brawl between Tito Ortiz and Stephan Bonnar, and Donald Cerrone’s wild spending habits. For more of Adam’s work, be sure to visit MMARoasted.com, AdamHunter.com, and follow him on his other Twitter account @AdamComedian. UFC 178 takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday, September 27 in Las Vegas, NV. Also on the card, former Bellator MMA lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez (#14 lightweight) will be taking on Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone (#5 lightweight, 24-6, 1NC). Rounding out the rest of the card, Dustin Poirier will take on Conor McGregor in a featherweight bout, Tim Kennedy will face Yoel Romero in a middleweight bout, and Cat Zingano will make her highly anticipated return to the UFC’s Octagon where she will be pitted against Amanda Nunes. The Fight Pass early prelims will begin at 7:00 pm EST. Then the action will move over to FOX Sports 1 at 8:00 pm EST for the four remaining preliminary bouts. The pay-per-view portion of the card will begin at 10:00 pm EST. Make sure to follow The MMA Corner for all the results and fight highlights of what should be a fantastic card.
