Bellator MMA: Season Eleven has been everything fights fans could have hoped for. There have been great fights, spectacular finishes and lots of action. On Friday September 26, 2014 they look to continue their streak of exciting events with Bellator 126 live at the Grand Canyon University Arena in Phoenix, AZ.

Bellator is known for putting together entertaining fight cards and Bellator 126 is no different. Here’s why you need to watch.

Bubba Jenkins

Jenkins is one of the brightest young featherweight talents in all of MMA. A former Division I National Champion wrestler, Jenkins has made the transition into MMA look simple and easy. Six of his seven career victories have come by way of stoppage and he continues to get better with every outing. Training out of American Top Team, Jenkins is a fighter to keep your eye on.

Patricky Freire vs. Marcin Held

The co-main event of the evening features the Bellator Season 10 Lightweight Tournament final between Freire and Held. Freire is the older of the two “Pitbull” brothers, and like his featherweight champion brother, he is fierce in all facets of the game. Freire has a tough test in Polish youngster Held who, at just 22, has 19 career victories; 15 of which never made it to the judges scorecards.

Alexander Shlemenko vs. Brandon Halsey

In the main event of the evening Bellator middleweight champion Shlemenko looks to defend his title against undefeated Bellator Season 10 Middleweight Tournament winner Halsey. Halsey is a hard-nosed wrestler with a lot of potential, but he has never faced a fighter at Shlemenko’s level.

Shlemenko is one of the best fighters in all of MMA and his striking is other worldly. Don’t let the loss to Tito Ortiz mislead you; Shlemenko is as dangerous a middleweight as there is in the sport today with 29 of his 50 career victories coming by way of knockout. Shlemenko hasn’t lost at middleweight since October of 2010 when he dropped a decision to then Bellator champion Hector Lombard.

Shlemenko is dynamic, powerful and motivated to put on a show for the fans.
