The first women’s matchup has officially been added to the UFC’s highly anticipated trip to México City.

A bantamweight matchup between Jessica ‘Evil’ Eye and Leslie Smith has official been added to UFC 180 on November 15.

Eye (10-2), is coming off a close split decision loss to former title contender Alexis Davis at UFC 170 in February. Prior to this win, the Ohio native scored a very impressive split decision win over Sarah Kaufman at UFC 166 last October. However, this win would be later ruled a No-Contest due to Eye testing positive for marijuana following a post-fight drug test.

Smith (7-5-1), a former Invicta flyweight contender, is coming off a violent first round knockout win over Jessamyn Duke at UFC Fight Night 45 in July. Prior to this win ‘The Peacemaker’ she suffered a unanimous decision loss in her UFC debut to Kaufman at The Ultimate Fighter: Nations Finale in April.

UFC 181 is currently scheduled to be held on November 15 at the Arena Ciudad de México. A heavyweight championship fight between Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum is set to headline the event. The prelims for the card will feature the final featherweight and bantamweight bouts from The Ultimate Fighter Latin America tournament. The series, which started airing August 20, is currently airing in Latin America on Televisa. Fans outside of Latin America can watch the inaugural season on UFC Fight Pass.
