Bellator’s next trip to Iowa will feature a pair of hometown favorites in the main event.

On Wednesday, Bellator announced a welterweight matchup between Josh Neer and Paul Bradley had officially been added to the recently announced Bellator 129, which is set to take place at The Mid-America Center in Iowa on Friday, October 17. The night will also feature the return of the James Thompson as he battles MMA veteran Houston Alexander in a heavyweight bout.

Thompson (20-14), who rose to prominence during his time under the Pride FC banner, is coming off a first round TKO victory in his Bellator debut against Eric Prindle at 121 in June. This win not only gave ‘The Colossus’ 18 career stoppage victories but also pushed his unbeaten streak to six straight.

The night will also feature a welterweight fight between Strikeforce veteran James Terry (14-7) and promotional newcomer Andre “Chatuba” Santos (33-9). Terry will enter this bout with eight career knockouts victories while Santos boasts an incredible 22 submission wins.
