Another day, another fighter gets injured.

On Friday, the UFC announced an injury has forced former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Rafael ‘Feijao’ Cavalcante out of his co-main event matchup against Ovince Saint Preux at the UFC Fight Night 56. Fellow Brazilian Francimar Barroso has been tabbed as his replacement.

Barroso (16-4), a Nova Unaio product, is coming off a close split decision loss to Hans Stringer at UFC Fight Night 38 in March. Prior to this loss ‘Bodão’ earned a decision victory his UFC debut against Ednaldo Oliveira at UFC 163. He will enter this bout with 14 career stoppage victories, including eight by way of knockout.

OSP (16-6), a former University of Tennessee linebacker, is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Ryan Bader in their main event matchup at UFC Fight Night 47 in August. The loss snapped OSP’s five-fight winning streak, which included finishes over Ryan Jimmo, Nikita Krylov and Cody Donovan under the UFC banner. He will enter this bout with 12 career stoppage victories, including seven by way of knockout.

UFC Fight Night 56 is currently scheduled to take place on November 8 at the Ginásio Municipal Tancredo Neves in Uberlândia, Brazil. A light heavyweight bout between former UFC champion Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua and former UCMMA champion Jimi Manuwa will serve as the night’s main event.

Here’s how the rest of the card is shaping up:

  • Mauricio Rua vs. Jimi Manuwa
  • Ovince Saint Preux vs. Francimar Barroso

  • Warlley Alves vs. Alan Jouban
  • Caio Magalhaes vs. Trevor Smith
