On Friday September 26, 2014 Titan FC heads to the Cedar Park Center in Cedar Park, TX for Titan FC 30: Magalhaes vs. Brilz.

With three solid events taking place, Friday evening fans have some decisions to make regarding what they watch live and what they DVR. For fans looking for a solid mix of known veterans and top young talent, then look no further than Titan FC 30.

Gleristone “Toninho Furia” Santos

Brazil has always been a hotbed for young MMA talent and Brazilian Top Team featherweight prospect Santos is ready to step into the spotlight. It’s hard to call a fighter with 30 pro bouts a prospect, but at just 26 Santos hasn’t even hit his prime yet. Santos has won eight straight bouts with six of those wins coming by way of stoppage. Keep a close eye on Santos.

Anthony “Shark Bait” Gutierrez

Gutierrez is most well-known for not making weight during his time on The Ultimate Fighter but make no mistake about it, he is a top prospect in this sport. Gutierrez is undefeated in his pro career and has finished all of his fights in the first round. At just 23 years old, Gutierrez is going to continue to get better and better.

Vinny Magalhaes vs. Jason Brilz

In the main event of the evening, UFC veterans Magalhaes and Brilz will battle it out for the vacant Titan FC middleweight title. This is a classic wrestler vs BJJ matchup that should be an entertaining throwback bout for fight fans. Brilz’s career is winding down, but since being released from the UFC in 2011 he is 4-0 and is looking to end his career on a high note. Magalhaes, on the other hand, is still in the prime of his career and is a great grappler with a long future still ahead of him. Magalhaes should come out on top, but old dogs are always dangerous.
