On Friday night from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, OK, Legacy Fighting Championships held their 35th event. In a rare occurrence in mixed martial arts, none of the seven televised main card bouts went the distance.

To kick off the evening, Justin Rader made quick work of Hector Arteaga when he secured in the fight winning rear naked choke 3:22 into the first round. James Warren had a little more difficult time with his opponent, Jesse Chaffin, but still managed to score a second round TKO victory.

The next four fights all ended by way of submission. Both Derrick Krantz and Rafael Lovato finished their opponents by head and arm choke in the first round. David Burrow secured an armbar submission over Edward Cline Jr. in the first round of their fight, and Andrew Todhunter also found a first round submission over Levi Avera.

In the evening’s main event, Leonardo Leite went to war with Myron Dennis for four rounds before Leite was able to secure a TKO victory late in the fourth round.

Also worth noting, RES Nation gives out a $1000 cash bonus to fighters at Legacy FC who finish their opponents. Needless to say, all seven main card fighters left the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino with an extra grand in their pocket. Well, as long as they didn’t hit the craps tables on their way out.

Pretty dirty move for Arteaga to take a swing at Rader while they touched gloves.
