On Tuesday, during an episode of the UFC Minute, host Lisa Foiles announced featherweight matchup between Jeremy Stephens and Charles Oliveira has officially been booked for the co-main event of The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in December.

Stephens (23-10) burst onto the 145-pound scene with three straight victories, including a violent headkick knockout over Rony Jason last November. Fans saw his win streak snapped in his most recent outing where he dropped a unanimous decision to Cub Swanson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 44 in June. Prior to making the drop in weight “Lil’ Heathen” accumulated a record of 7-8 in the UFC’s lightweight division, which included knockout victories over Cole Miller and Rafael dos Anjos.

Oliveira (18-4) was last seen missing weight prior to his scheduled bout with Nik Lentz at UFC Fight Night 50. He eventually pulled out the fight due to illness. Prior to this weight cutting debacle, “da Bronx” earned back-to-back submission victories over Hatsu Hioki and Andy Ogle, earning a Performance of the Night bonus on both occasion.

The Ultimate Fighter 20 is currently scheduled to take Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Dec. 12. The main event will serve as the finale of the TUF 20 women’s strawweight tournament.
